The Annual Mega Inter School Competition, Concurrence was held on 29th and 30th August, 2022 with great ostentatious display which truly proved to be a reverberate accomplishment. It was a myriad of Cultural, Sports and Scholastic events. The theme of the competition mainly revolved around ‘Sports’ to celebrate the National Sports day. Under the sports segment, school conducted it's 'Chess in School' Chess Tournament 2022, in alliance with U.P Chess Sports Association.
All the competitions were a fusion of talent, imagination, creativity, spontaneity and ingeniousness. Students right from Pre- Nursery to grade 12 had put their heart and soul together during the participation in the event. Over 500 students from 30 schools took part in it and set a hallmark in different categories. All the contenders left everyone awe-struck as they presented their talent so immaculately. All the events helped to bring out the uniqueness of each individual. This Mega event provided a platform to all the participants to showcase their hidden skills, analyze and evaluate outcomes and uncover latent talents and personal aptitude. The inaugural ceremony was held on 29th August 2021 where the esteemed Guests of honor Mr. A. K. Raizada (Chairmam of AICF Research Section and General Secretary, UP Chess Sports Association), Mrs. Raman Reiki (Joint National Director Organizational Development, Special Olympic Bharat), Shri Dharamveer Singh Ji (DIOS), Shri R.C. Singh Ji (Manager of the School), and Mr. Surender secretary , U.P. Yoga Association graced the occasion. School’s Choir group and Dance group set the stage ablaze with their spellbound, captive and breathtaking rendition.
The closing ceremony of the stupendous occasion was held on 30th August 2022. Spontaneity and confidence were the hallmark of the competition. All the participants were applauded for their astounding performances .The overall winner was JPS, Greater Noida. Second position was secured by JPS, Noida and the third position was bagged by Amity International School, Sec-44. All the contenders had a great learning time and experiences they carried back along with them. The entire event was celebrated with much splendor. The ceremony culminated with vote of thanks by the Head Girl.
Independence Day
Celebrating the spirit of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”
Under the auspice of Honourable Chairman Sh. Manoj Gaur ji and Director Education Manika Gaur ji, Jaypee Public School, Greater Noida marked the 76th Independence Day with much gaiety and alacrity on 15th August,2022.
The school decorated with tricolour saffron, white and green balloons and flags which were treat for the eyes of spectators. To commemorate the sovereignty of our Nation, Principal Meeta Bandula, the Chief Guest MAJ GEN Sanjiv Bajaj and Mrs Tina Bajaj, unfurled the tricolour flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom.
Students from PRERNA – The Special Education Wing rendered magnificent songs with patriotic fervour. Subsequently, the choir group of school in their melodious voices sang the Patriotic song- ‘Ae watan k sajeele jawano’ that awakened everyone’s feelings towards the Mother Land.
The main highlight of the event was March past by National Cadet Corps(NCC) Cadets and the student council of the school. The cadets marched to the tune of drum beats and showcased an immaculate drill display. They were appreciated for their achievements and felicitated with mementos by the chief guest. Principal Meeta Bhandula ma’am, delivered a speech that gave an impetus to the event and emanated true connotation of patriotism.
Students showcased a beautiful traditional Meghalaya folk dance followed by a mellifluous patriotic songs and an electrifying western dance on the beats of ‘one India patriotic mash up’.
Everyone’s hearts were moved by the insightful speech of the chief guest, MAJ GEN Sanjiv Bajaj. Sir, advised students to realize, understand and cherish the coveted freedom and work towards a progressive nation. He extended his warm greetings on the occasion.
The program culminated with Vote of Thanks by Mr Kamplapati sir.The sweets were distributed to the parents & students
Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and Unity in Diversity.
Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign!(SKIT)
Government of India, in its extended efforts to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav also initiating Har Ghar Tiranga campaign with an aim to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the citizen and commemorate 76 years of independence and the glorious history of India & its unity.
In reference to thisJaypee Pubic School, Greater Noida conducted an inter-class activity of Skit for Grade VII and VIII to pay the tribute to our freedom fighters. Students with unprecedented patriotic fervour showcased the skits, to rekindle the latent spirit of nationalism.
Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign!(Painting & Slogan Writing)
As the government of India celebrates 76 year of independence of progressive India through its intiative Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Jaypee Pubic School, Greater Noida commemorated this monumental occasion through the painting and slogan writing competition for Grade I to X on 12 August,2022. The theme of the competition was – ‘Incredible India.’ Students have participated in the competition with great enthusiasm.
To inculcate the spirit of patriotism and nationalism, the students from classes III to XII participated with great zeal & fervour in the inter class Bulletin Board Competition.
All the students actively got involved in this endeavour and brought out their creativity and vibrant imagination by imbibing the spirit of freedom in their creations and displayed their wonderful artwork of tricolour on the Bulletin Boards.
Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign!(Prabhat-Pheri )
Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence. In an effort to sensitize citizens about the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, Jaypee Public School, Greater Noida organized the “Prabhat Pheri” on Janpath Road Moonlight, Greater Noida on 13 August, 2022.
Our school students marched the streets carrying a tricolour and chanted slogans with patriotic fervour- “Bharat Mata ki jai”, “Vande Mataram”, “Har ghar tiranga, har man tiranga” .Our tiny tots dressed up like freedom fighter heroes of their choice and joined the prabhat pheri. The idea behind the initiative is to infuse the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the pupils and pay tribute to our freedom fighters.
'Swachh Bharat' Mission
The students of grade III to V, under the guidance of school's Head boy, Raghav Ahuja and Head girl, Amishi Sharma, created an awareness about 'Swachh Bharat' mission on 10.08.22 by holding talk session on the theme with their peer group and designed posters for creating awareness on community and personal hygiene.
Investiture Ceremony
"Leadership is an action, not a position"
The Investiture Ceremony is a solemn occasion where all the young students are prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them by the school.
It is one of the most important events of a school, it is here that the school entrusts faith and hope in our newly elected student council. The celebration on that very day makes every child who is elected as a leader feel very proud and inculcates a sense of responsibility to be leaders in making for tomorrow. The ceremony is not just about providing titles but also about handing over responsibilities to students.
The Investiture Ceremony of Jaypee Public School, Greater Noida for the academic session 2022-23 was held on 28th July 2022 with great pomp and dignity at the school Multipurpose Hall. Lieutenant General (Dr.) Ashish Ranjan Prasad was the Chief Guest and his wife Mrs. Nishi Prasad and Mr. R.C. Singh was the Guest of honour at the solemn event, the parents of the newly elected student body were also present there to witness this momentous event where our school acknowledged the budding young leaders and reposed the trust in them.
The ceremony commenced with a beautiful rendition of the Saraswati Vandana. It was followed by the honorable Principal Maam, Ms. Meeta Bhandula's address in which she enlightened all with her kind words and congratulated the newly elected student council.
The elected Leaders’ profiles were read out to the audience. They were conferred with badges and sashes by Honourable Chief Guest Lieutenant General (Dr) Ashish Ranjan Prasad and the other distinguished people present there. After that the flag ceremony took place where the former Head Boy Havik Shah and former Head Girl Fatima Bin Asad handed over the school flag to the newly elected Head Girl, Amishi Sharma, symbolizing the responsibilities given to the head girl and further the Oath ceremony took place during which newly elected Head Boy, Raghav Ahuja, took the pledge and the students council continued after him to hold the school motto of Humility Enhances Excellence.
Lieutenant General (Dr) Ashish Ranjan Prasad congratulated the newly elected student council and advised them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. He also exhorted them to uphold the values. He reminded them that with position comes responsibility towards themselves, their school, and peers, and struggles help one to achieve heights. Thereafter, the Head Girl, Amishi Sharma, proposed the vote of thanks to conclude the momentous occasion.
The mesmerizing and cherishable occasion symbolized the beginning of a new phase in the lives of the students as leaders of Jaypee Public School.
“Bharat Drone Mahotsav” - Drone Festival
India witnessed the biggest drone festival of this decade held at Pragati Maidan New Delhi from 27 May to 28 May, 2022. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the event .In this event over 1600 delegates comprising Government officials, Foreign Diplomats, Armed forces and Private companies participated and more than 70 exhibitors displayed various drones.
Mr. Ashish Soni (Computer Science Faculty) attended this moments event. He got an opportunity to see various drones that can be used in Healthcare, Agriculture, Mapping and Defense which enhances his knowledge and skills.
School will Conduct a training session on assembling robots and drone for students of grade 8 to 12 so that they can learn this technology for future use.
FAREWELL 2021-22
Students of class XI bid adieu to the affable bunch of class XII in a celebration organized on 13th April 2022 in the Multi-purpose Hall of the school with great zest and exuberance. A time to ponder down the memorial lane, the feel of nostalgia, emotions running deep, sentiments and expression of gratitude, advises, reminiscence of joyous moments spent in the school, filled the hearts of the students. The students were clad in their best attires. The event started off with the blessing of God and everyone praying for a better tomorrow. soon the event was filled by melodious voices of the students and along with everyone singing. An array of stupendous dance, song and skit performances were dedicated to the seniors. Each student was awarded with specific ‘Titles’ matching his/her personality and character trait. Mr.Girish Chandra. Manager Jaypee Public Schools graced the occasion with his benign presence. The grand function culminated with a scrumptious dinner. Ms Meeta Bhandula, Principal and other faculty members wished good luck to all the students for their future endeavours and asked them to face life challenges with confidence. The students and the staff applauded the efforts put in by the students of class XI. The prime attraction of the evening was MISS and MR JPS PAGEANT 2022, in which all the students from class XII competed against each other. The winners of the various coveted titles are:
