Grade XII-Farewell

Students of class XI bid adieu to the outgoing batch of class XII in a party organized on 1st February 2020 in the Multi-purpose Hall of the school with great zest and exuberance. A time to reflect back down the memory lane, the feel of nostalgia, emotions running deep, sentiments and expression of gratitude, advises, reminiscence of joyous moments spent in the school, filled the hearts of the students. The students were dressed in their best attires. An array of stupendous dance, song and skit performances was dedicated to the seniors. Each student was awarded with specific ‘Titles’ matching his/her personality and character trait. Ms. Manika Gaur, (Director Education, Jaypee Schools) graced the occasion with her benign presence. The grand function culminated with a scrumptious dinner. Mrs Meeta Bhandula, Principal and other faculty members wished good luck to all the students for their future endeavours and asked them to face life challenges with confidence. The students and the staff alike applauded the efforts put in by the students of class XI. The prime attraction of the evening was MISS and MR JPS PAGEANT 2019, in which all the students from class XII competed against each other. The winners of the various coveted titles are:

HAWAN CEREMONY

To invoke divine blessings of God for the students appearing for Class X & XII CBSE Board Examinations, a Hawan Ceremony was organized on the auspicious day of Vasant Panchami on 29th January 2020 at Jaypee Public School, Greater Noida. Inches away from embarking upon their career goals, the students were seen with a mixed feeling of excitement and nervousness. The ritual was attended by the Princial, Ms MeetaBhandula, the teaching faculty and the students. Principal Ma’am sat along with the Class representatives before the ‘Hawan Kunda’ and mantras were chanted. The ceremony was performed religiously under the divine fervour and spirituality. It ended with ‘PuranAhuti’ and distribution of prasad. The Principal concluded by saying that this ritual will surely energise your inner self and destroy the imperfections. She asserted the students to follow the path of righteousness, have faith in their efforts, remain focused and stop worrying as good results are bound to happen. After the ceremony, the admit cards for the forthcoming board exams were handed over to the students and the teaching faculty wished them for their future endeavours.

  

 

REPUBLIC DAY

Freedom in the mind, Strength in the words, Pureness in our blood, Pride in our souls, Zeal in our hearts, let’s salute our India on Republic Day.

The 71st Republic day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur on 26th January. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood. The event began with the hoisting of the Indian National Flag by the Principal followed by the national Anthem.
Divyanshi of grade 11 recited a patriotic poem and the school choir presented the patriotic song Jai Jan Bharat. The whole school joined the choir and the song reverberated in the surrounding. The school echoed with patriotic fervor as the students from grade 3 to 8 danced to the tunes of Pyare Panchi and Desh mera Rangeela. The melodious music and graceful movements of the dancers were spellbinding. Lakshita of grade 11 delivered a speech and highlighted the significance of the day. The mellifluous school choir rendered a melodious patriotic medley. The students who won in English Olympiad and in Spell Bee were felicitated by the Principal.

  

MAGIC SHOW

A magic show was organized for grade 4 and 5 on 28th January,2020. The show was conducted by Magician V.K Samrat. He performed many tricks and illusion that made the children and teachers watch him rapt attention and excitement. The magic wand and the distinctive style of magician kept everybody astounded. He told them that magic is only an illusion of the eyes and simple hand-tricks. Magician played tricks with balls, hanky, flowers, newspaper, the candles and card game. All of them could not stop clapping as he unfolded his magic tricks one by one. It entertained all children.

 

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

On 24th December 2019, a special assembly was conducted to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ in the true spirit of Christmas. The programme was commenced with a beautiful dance by grade 4 and 5. Ms. Jessica had acquainted students about the profound teaching of Jesus Christ through some insightful videos which exhorted students to be kind, polite and spread love in the world. The students sang melodious carols. Everyone got drowned in the happy festive vibes. Students attired as Santa and the boundless joy of celebrating festival was amply visible on the faces of children especially when Santa moved around by distributing candies to them. Principal ma’am motivated students to inculcate the true spirit of this festive by giving, caring and sharing and wished students Merry Christmas. The students were felicitated by Principal ma’am and Vidhu ma’am for their outstanding performance in GK Olympiad and in sports.

 

INTER -HOUSE COMPETITION ON MOCK PARLIAMENT

An Inter- house competition on Parliament was held on 18 Dec 2019. Through this activity participants played the role of prominent members of parliament, Ministers and speaker and discussed the school issues in the scheduled session.
Objective of mock parliament competition was to familiarize students with parliamentarian functioning and language. It is an educational tool to promote understanding of the working of government. It was a great learning experience for the participants as well as for the spectators.
