The Special Education Wing has been renamed as Prerna which depictsits motto Wings of Motivation where children with some special needs are empowered to live their lives independently and confidently with main stream of the society developing their individual potentials. It was started in the year 2014 and within five years of its promotion,Perna has earned a good reputation for providing high -quality inclusive education to children with special abilities.

Students are mentored by highly qualified full-time educators including occupational, speech therapists, counseling psychologist, shadow teachers and special educators who administer individualized learning programmes.
"The objective of PRERNA is to provide standard education which accelerates awareness and acceptance of children with different learning or emotional needs. The school offers its inclusive education programme to students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia and ADHD, and a differentiated learning programme to students with development delays and autism spectrum disorder.To this end, we have well trained special needs teachers and expert therapists working with us.

To fulfil the mission of delivering holistic integrated education, the School management has liberally invested in academic, remedial and co-curricular facilities. The compact CGCC campus offers one speech and language therapy labs, one occupational therapy and sensory integration gyms, a library, an art room, 3 temperature-controlled remedial classrooms, audio-visual aids, computer lab, multi-purpose hall, counseling rooms and psychology lab for research and development purpose.


Parent interaction session was held on 30th Nov. 2019 in Prerna Special Education Wing. This was a planned interactive session to have an open discussion on all the concerns which parents of special need children face. Our trained special educators enlightened the parents about the needs and handling of special need students. Educators took sessions on the topics like: how to identify uniqueness of your child, handling learning difficulty issues, behavior management of the Autistic children, and need of making children independent. Parents turned up with many queries and got satisfactory solutions from educators. It was a successful interaction. They appreciated this innovative step taken by the Principal of the school and looking forward for more informative sessions in future.

"Autism is not the disability it is a different ability"

By keeping this view in mind the school organised Autism week from 2nd - 6th April to help students think differently about autism and learn how to support their autistic classmates in a better way. Autism friendly events and educational activities took place throughout the week to increase understanding, acceptance and foster support.Students participated in the poster making competition and a short movie was shown to them.A special dance was performed by the differently abled students the teachers also presented a short skit. The week concluded with the signature campaign and the pledge to promote equality and full participation of special children in all field.


Special Olympic Bharat organised a seminar on inclusive education on 17th may in Jaypeee campus to prepare youth leaders for the inclusive education, who will help their classmates or friends being intellectually challenged.
National Youth Summit was attended by Shri M.P. Sharma ji (National level Hockey player) and class IX students conducted at Amity University, Noida from 27th - 30th May 2019. On Special Olympic Bharat a panel discussion took place on 'Power of Youth and Unified Sports'.
A unified football match and youth leadership training workshop was organised on 22nd August 2019. The match commenced with the special Olympics athlete oath followed by a torch run, march past and football match. The workshop was an introduction to 'behind the scenes' of any event.It was primarily organised for the youth club of the school. It was a unified event for a special athletes from MBCN School and Jaypee Public School.
